These Terms and Conditions govern your use of PurelyPersonal and form the contract between you and us when you place an order through our website.
By using our website or purchasing from us, you agree to these terms.
1. About Us
PurelyPersonal is a UK-based personalised gift shop selling custom engraved and handmade items produced in-house.

2. Ordering
Placing an Order
When you place an order, you confirm that:
- All information you provide is accurate
- You have permission to use any images, text or artwork uploaded by you
- You are at least 18 years old or have permission from a guardian to make purchases
Order Confirmation
After placing an order, you will receive an email confirming the details.
Production of personalised items begins shortly after the order is confirmed.
Correct Information
You are responsible for ensuring all personalisation details (names, dates, spellings, images) are correct before submitting the order.
3. Personalised Items
- Personalised products are made specifically for you and cannot be changed once production has started.
- We cannot refund or replace items where the personalisation details were supplied incorrectly by the customer.
- We reserve the right to refuse orders containing inappropriate material (hate speech, offensive content, copyrighted designs, etc).
4. Non-Personalised Items
Non-personalised items may be cancelled or changed before dispatch.
5. Pricing and Payment
- All prices are in GBP.
- Full payment is required before production begins.
- We reserve the right to update pricing at any time.
- Discounts and promotional codes may be withdrawn without notice.
Payments are processed securely via trusted third-party providers.
6. Production and Delivery
Production Time
Personalised items: 1–3 working days
Non-personalised items: 1–2 working days
Delivery
Delivery options and estimated times are shown at checkout.
We are not liable for delays caused by:
- Couriers
- Incorrect address details provided by the customer
- Events outside our control
7. Returns and Refunds
Personalised Items
No returns unless:
- The item arrives damaged
- The engraving/production is incorrect
- The item received does not match the order
You must contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the issue.
Non-Personalised Items
Can be returned within 30 days if unused and in original packaging.
Return postage is the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty.

8. Lost, Damaged or Faulty Items
If your parcel is lost or damaged in transit, we will investigate with the courier.
Depending on the result, we will arrange a replacement or refund.
For damage, clear photographic evidence is required.
9. Intellectual Property
- All product designs, templates, descriptions and website content belong to PurelyPersonal.
- Customer-provided images, artwork and text remain the property of the customer.
- We will not use customer artwork for anything other than:
- Completing and producing their order
- Displaying the product for promotional materials, including ads, videos, website galleries and social media posts
- We will never sell, license or redistribute customer artwork outside of these uses.
- Customers may request removal of promotional content featuring their artwork at any time by contacting us at contact-us@purelypersonal.co.
10. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for:
- Minor variations in colour or material due to natural differences
- Delays caused by external couriers
- Losses arising from incorrect personalisation details provided by the customer
- Indirect or consequential damages
Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the order.
11. Privacy and Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR.

12. Cancellation Policy
Personalised items
Cannot be cancelled once production has started.
Non-personalised items
May be cancelled before dispatch.
13. Events Outside Our Control
We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including:
- Postal strikes
- Extreme weather
- Supply shortages
- System outages
- Transport issues
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be resolved in English courts.
